Studio Suite 9 Hardware Requirements

For the Client machines

Windows XP (Service Pack 3) or

Windows 7 or

Mac OS X version 10.5.7 or greater with Intel processor

Intel Core Duo processors are recommended, minimum 1gig of RAM, 2 would be better. Minimum 40 gig hard drives.

For the Server

Dedicated Server preferred, virtual server possible.

FileMaker Server on PC requires:

Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition SP2 or

Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition SP2 (recommended) or

WinXP Pro (not recommended) Minimum 4gig of RAM

FileMaker Server on Mac requires:

MacOSX 10.5.8 or greater for Intel Macs. -- MacOSX Server is not required

Intel Core Duo processors (or better) are recommended, minimum 4gig of RAM.

2 separate hard drives (secondary drive for backup), minimum 80 gigs each. Minimum 7200 RPM.

Standard graphics processors are fine.

Wired network strongly recommended.
